The centerpiece for enthusiasts is the potent eight-cylinder, producing 523 horsepower and delivering effortless acceleration with a refined, muscular soundtrack. For buyers prioritizing city driving and sustainability, the plug-in hybrid variants continue to offer an impressive blend of electric-only range and combustion-engine backup.
On paved roads, the Range Rover Sport feels remarkably agile for its size. Credit the advanced suspension system, which now includes predictive technology that scans the road ahead and adjusts damping in real time. The result is a ride that stays smooth over broken pavement yet remains composed and flat through corners. Steering is direct and well-weighted, instilling confidence whether threading through city traffic or cruising the highway. Technology upgrades are immediately noticeable. The dashboard's centerpiece is a sleek, 13.1-inch curved touchscreen running the latest Pivi Pro interface. The 3D Surround Camera system, paired with ClearSight Ground View, provides a “see-through” perspective that makes parking and tight maneuvers far easier, adding real utility to the luxury.
The 2026 Range Rover Sport is available in several trim levels to suit different preferences for performance and luxury: SE ($77,100), Dynamic SE ($90,800), Autobiography ($120,000), and SV Variants ($120,000) MSRP. The starting MSRP varies by engine size and options. Testing the 2026 Range Rover Sport, including its new range-topping SV performance variants, feels like the natural culmination of everything I've watched this nameplate become since 1987. The brute-force character of the early Classics has given way to genuine dynamic precision; the workmanlike cabins have been replaced by some of the industry's most refined interiors; and the suspension technology has evolved from simple air springs to predictive, road-scanning systems.
