2026 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label continues to define American luxury through comfort, elegance, and a quiet, refined driving experience. Lincoln sets the benchmark for introducing technology that transforms vehicles into luxury lounges on wheels, and the Nautilus midsize luxury SUV is no exception.

What impressed me most about the Nautilus was its approach to luxury. Rather than competing with European rivals on aggressive styling and sports-car handling, Lincoln emphasizes comfort, advanced technology, and a relaxing driving experience.

Lincoln completely redesigned the Nautilus in 2024, with a new exterior, a panoramic digital dashboard, and a more contemporary luxury experience. For 2026, Lincoln built on that foundation with updated technology, expanded personalization, and the new Aurora interior theme. The Black Label remains the flagship model, offering exclusive materials, distinctive styling, and premium ownership benefits.

Exterior/Interior

The Nautilus stands out for its wide grille, signature LED lighting, sculpted hood, and sleek roofline. The Black Label adds an exclusive woven-mesh grille with Radiant Copper Jewel accents. Flowing body contours and full-width rear lighting give it an upscale look without excessive ornamentation. The available Jet Appearance Package adds black accents and distinctive wheels for a sportier look.

The interior is where the Nautilus sets itself apart from competitors. A 48-inch panoramic display dominates the dashboard, spanning nearly the cabin's full width. An 11.1-inch touchscreen controls entertainment, climate settings, and vehicle functions. Lincoln's Digital Experience integrates Google-based services, navigation, voice commands, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Black Label models feature premium leather, upscale trim, and exclusive interior themes, including Chalet and the new Aurora design inspired by the northern lights. The 24-way Perfect Position front seats are especially impressive. Heating, ventilation, adjustable supports, Active Motion massage, ambient lighting, calming sounds, and digital imagery create a relaxing experience while parked. Digital Scent adds another dimension, and the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system delivers exceptional sound.

Engine, Power and Performance

The Nautilus comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is also standard. A 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid is also available. It combines gasoline and electric power to produce 285 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque and uses an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.

City/Highway Driving

Around the DMV, the Nautilus offers a quiet cabin, a comfortable ride, and driver-assistance technology. In city traffic, the elevated seating position provides excellent visibility, and light steering makes maneuvering through crowded streets and parking lots relatively easy.

The Nautilus is designed for relaxed highway cruising. Its adaptive suspension absorbs road imperfections, while sound insulation reduces road and wind noise.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Notable technology upgrades include Lincoln BlueCruise 1.5, which adds automatic lane-change capability on compatible highways. The hands-free system assists with steering, acceleration, braking, and lane changes, but it still requires continuous driver attention. Additional safety technologies include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic warning, and reverse automatic braking.

Fuel Economy

The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2.0-liter turbo AWD is 21 city/29 highway mpg. The hybrid model averages about 29 city/31 highway mpg.

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label starts at around $77,660 MSRP before options and fees. Buyers have plenty of premium alternatives.
