The Electrified Genesis GV70 is a captivating addition to the luxury electric SUV market, offering a fusion of performance, comfort, cutting-edge technology, and fast charging capabilities. The muscular design and luxurious features make the GV70 Electrified a vehicle that beckons those seeking to transition to an electric luxury vehicle. Following in the footsteps of the Genesis Electrified GV80 in 2021, the Electrified GV70 was a major entry into the electric vehicle market. This luxury crossover SUV builds on the solid foundation of its combustion-engine counterpart with a host of electrified enhancements. It also reflects Genesis' commitment to electrify its entire lineup by 2030. Models/Price: The 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 offers two trim levels, which start at $67,800 for the Advanced model and $74,445 for the Prestige, which is fully equipped with leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and digital display. The cabin also offers luxury touches like the knurled glass shift knob, Nappa leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and a Lexicon audio system. Performance/Battery: The 2024 Electrified GV70 has dual electric motors that produce a combined output of 483 horsepower when using the Boost Mode, racing it from 0 to 60 mph in around 4.5 seconds. The GV70 comes standard with a 77.4 kWh battery that gets a driving range of 236 miles on a full charge. It adapts to 400V and 800V charging systems and has an onboard charger that takes about 20 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent on a public DC charging station. Inside, the GV70 Electrified boasts a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen that is both user-friendly and highly responsive, seamlessly integrated with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and navigation. Genesis also includes state-of-the-art features like an augmented reality navigation system that overlays driving directions onto real-time camera footage, elevating driving safety and convenience to new heights. Fuel Economy: According to the EPA, the Electrified GV70 delivers about 98 city and 83 highway MPGe. Safety: The GV70 EV has a full suite of driver-assistance technologies, including adaptive cruise control with lane-centering, automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist with departure warning, and an advanced parking assist system. The Genesis luxury division has one of the best warranty coverages in the industry, with ten years or 100,000-mile powertrain coverage and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.
