The all-new 2025 Crown Signia hybrid SUV is distinguished by its premium-level attributes, which separate it from other Toyota SUVs. It stands out as a Lexus-like vehicle at a Toyota-level price, blending a wagon's practicality with a hybrid's fuel efficiency.
A successor to the Toyota Venza, the Crown Signia maintains the reliability of Toyota vehicles, and adds a stylish design, premium interior, and excellent fuel economy. After spending time behind the wheel, I’m sharing my thoughts on its style, performance, premium quality, and pricing.
Exterior: The Crown Signia isn’t shaped like the average SUV, its low roofline and wagon-like silhouette set it apart. Its elegant design exudes luxury, but without the label. Some exterior features include a bold front grille, standard 19- and 21-inch alloy wheels, and an available panoramic sunroof.
Interior/Technology: The Crown Signia’s interior is plush with premium-level materials that compete with Lexus, its luxury division. Some features include leather upholstery, heat/ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, JBL 11-speaker audio system, and a digital rearview mirror and panoramic view monitor (Limited Edition).
Power/Performance: The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder hybrid powertrain and three electric motors that produce 240 horsepower. It was engineered for city and highway roads, with a soft suspension that makes it exceptionally quiet, easily absorbing bumpy pavements. The ride quality is also premium thanks to its standard all-wheel drive and CVT transmission.
Models/Price: The Crown Signia offers two trim levels: The XLE ($43,790) with 19-inch wheels, and the Limited ($47,990) with 21-inch wheels. Optional Advanced Tech Package ($1,865) includes a 360-degree camera, front cross-traffic alert, and puddle lamps.
Fuel Economy: Toyota estimates a best-in-class fuel efficiency of 38 combined mpg with 39 city and 37 highway mpg.
Safety: The 2025 Crown Signia, which earned the IIHS Top Safety rating, comes standard with Toyota’s Safety Sense suite, which includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist & Road Sign Assist, and Blind-Spot Monitoring & Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
