The 2025 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus blurs the line between premium luxury and performance. It has more upscale features at an economy price point. A popular subcompact SUV that continues to impress with its aggressive design, upscale cabin, and driving performance. The top-of-the-line CX-30 Turbo Premium Plus model is all that and more.
To remain its competitive edge in the subcompact segment, Mazda has further refined the CX-30 with several updates for 2025, including voice commands via Alexa, over-the-air updates, a 10.25-inch Mazda Connect touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Rhodium White Premium Metallic and Aero Gray Metallic paint colors, enhanced suspension tuning, and wireless charging.

Power/Performance: The standard CX-30 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower, while upgrading to the Premium models gets the turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that produces 250 horsepower with 320 lb-ft of torque. The suspension is sporty and comfortable thanks to its smooth six-speed automatic transmission and i-Activ all-wheel drive. It accelerates quickly from take-off and remains composed on winding roads.
The five-seater CX-30 Turbocharged Premium cabin comes with premium features and upscale materials, including leatherette upholstery with heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Technology & Features: Other high-tech features in the Turbo Premium Plus model include a 10.25-inch infotainment display, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, 360-degree cameras, wireless charging, and a head-up display with traffic sign recognition.
Safety: The CX-30 is rated by the IIHS as a Top Safety Pick for being one of the safest small SUVs in the class. The Mazda iActive suite of safety features is standard on all 2025 Mazda CX-30 models, which includes Lane-Keeping Assist with Lane-Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go, Blind-Spot Monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
Fuel Economy: While performance is a bragging right for the turbocharged engine, fuel economy is not. The AWD turbo engine averages a combined 25 mpg, with 22 city and 30 highway mpg. However, the standard non-turbo engine averages 29 mpg with 26 city/33 highway mpg.
