The 2025 Kia K4 GT-Line, a replacement for the Forte, has been modernized with a bold new design and high-tech features. It now stands out in the segment, making you look twice to realize that it’s a Kia.
New for 2025: The all-new 2025 Kia K4, longer and wider than its predecessor, has been redesigned with a sporty front grille, a sloping roofline, a futuristic interior with more space, a curved 12.3-inch dual-screen display, and Kia’s AI voice assistant.
Power/Performance: The K4 GT-Line accelerates quickly and is smooth. It is powered by two powertrains, a 2.0-liter engine that generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque in the base model, which is paired with a CVT transmission. The new GT-Line Turbo delivers 190 horsepower from a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine complemented by a sports-tuned eight-speed automatic transmission.
Models/Price: The 2025 Kia K4 offers five model configurations, including the LX ($21,990), LXS ($22,990), EX ($23,990), GT-Line ($25,190), and the GT-Line Turbo ($28,090). Prices are MSRP and do not include the $1,175 destination charge.
Exterior highlights include blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlights, black glossy accents, and hidden rear door handles. The GT-Line adds sportier bumpers, black mirror caps, and a power sunroof, an option on the base model.
On the inside, you’re surrounded by premium materials, leatherette seats, and soft surfaces, a curved 12.3-inch infotainment and digital gauge cluster with a five-inch climate control touchscreen in the center. The GT-Line also comes with a Harman Kardon audio system.
Safety: The K4 GT-Line has advanced safety equipment, including Highway Driving Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Lane-Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Rear Seat Alert. An additional package can be added for $2,200, including Blind-Spot Monitoring, Parking Collision Avoidance, Surround-View Camera, and a Memory Driver Seat.
Fuel Economy: The K4 2.0-liter model averages 29 city/39 highway mpg, while the GT-Line balances performance and fuel economy, delivering 26 city/36 highway mpg from the 1.6-liter Turbo engine.
