With a 450-mile battery range and 750 horsepower, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is a masterclass in combining modern design with cutting-edge technology, too much power, and long-range electric energy.

2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ
Cadillac, known for making cars that look like they came from the future, the 20256 IQ all-electric EV, is no exception. With a sharply contoured shape, a steeply sloped windshield, and a quick roofline, it looks more athletic than its predecessors. The front has vertical, crystal-like LED elements and a full-width lit grille that make a dramatic "face." The rear has elaborate vertical taillamps that match the style of the front.
Stepping inside, you're surrounded by state-of-the-art features like the 55-inch curved LED display centerpiece that spans the entire dashboard. This single pane of glass is intelligently divided into two functional zones: a 35-inch area directly in front of the driver for the gauge cluster and driving information, and a 20-inch diagonal infotainment screen for the passenger.
The dashboard also includes a Smart Surface Technology panel that is clean and uncluttered, but utilizes a capacitive touch to reveal hidden controls for climate and other features. Although it appears free of physical buttons, it will light up and reveal the features when needed.
High-Tech Features: A countless slew of cutting-edge technologies are loaded into the 2025 Escalade IQ, offering high-class luxury, comfort, autonomy, and capability. Highlights include:
• Super Cruise: This is the industry's first hands-free driver-assistance system for compatible highways across the U.S. and Canada. The Escalade IQ features the latest version, which includes automatic and assisted lane change functionality and trailering support.
• Comfort/Audio: The cabin is tranquil due to extensive sound-deadening. It offers front and rear massaging seats, premium materials, an Executive Second-Row package with reclining seats, and a large console screen. The AKG Studio Reference 40-speaker immersive audio system provides a 360-degree, concert-hall-like experience.
• Air Ride Adaptive Suspension with 4-Wheel Steer: The suspension automatically adjusts for comfort or sportiness and can raise or lower the vehicle for entry/exit or aerodynamics. The 4-wheel steer feature allows the rear wheels to turn in the opposite direction of the front wheels at low speeds for a remarkably tight turning circle, and in the same direction at high speeds for more stable lane changes.
Power/Performance: The Escalade IQ entered a competitive field against the 2025 BMW iX xDrive60, Mercedes EQS, Rivian R1S, but it carves out a unique niche with its extreme combination of size, luxury, and performance.
While the Rivian R1S is known for quicker off-the-line and more off-road capabilities, and the German models tend to be more agile and tech-focused, the Escalade IQ stands alone. It is the undisputed king of size, presence, and traditional luxury in the electric SUV space. Its staggering 750 horsepower is more about effortless, silent power for a large vehicle than being an outright sports car. However, its 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds in its Velocity Max mode is super-fast for something of its scale.
Battery Range/Charging: The Escalade IQ leads its class in efficiency and charging technology. With an extended range of 450 miles on a full charge, it stands out as the longest range of any full-size luxury EV SUV.
The Cadillac Escalade IQ uses an 800-volt electrical architecture and can add up to 100 miles of range in 10 minutes on a public DC fast charger. It also includes a Bidirectional system that can return power to the home. The vehicle-to-home (V2H) technology allows the Escalade IQ to act as a massive backup battery, sending power to your home during an outage, to other EVs, or to power tools and devices directly.
Models/MSRP: This super luxury, futuristic SUV, with supercar performance and power, is not cheap. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is offered in several configurations. The base model Luxury 1 starts at around $130,000, and Luxury 2 starts at around $140,000 MSRP. A Sport trim adds another $8,000 to $10,000, and the fully-loaded Premium Luxury Platinum with an Appearance Package costs $155,000 MSRP.
